Is there any confirmation that Rowbury is not training in Oregon any more?
Any confirmation that she's going to law school?
Or are these just rumors?

Shannon is an amazing athlete , tough competitor during big events. National record holder.transitioning to Law School.
Living in San Francisco . Represented the USA with honour . Lots to hate about this person. ha.
In the last few years, its become "Salazar who?" when talking to NOP athletes. Like they've never heard of him. Pete Julian has always been their coach. Always.
The group is dissolving. By their own choice? By force? As time goes by, NOP will just be a fading memory, with everyone involved praying outside memories fade fast.
No one talks about Jama Aden. Proof that memories fade fast, and governing bodies (without external pressure) simply forget to investigate.

Sorry but if you dont think that Rupp was pretty dominant over the last eight years you need to go look up american records and best race finishes in major championships
....Uhm, OK.
For clarity, Rupp owns 1 American Record, the track 10k.
Lagat owns 5: 1500, 3k, 5k road, 5k track, and 10k track
Ryan Hall owns 4: thon, 1/2, 30k, 25k
Gray owns 800 & 600
Galen Rupp = Max King in American Records.
ONE.
Ben True owns the 5k road record.
You know she wears brightly colored lipstick to honor her late grandmother, right? Right? Jerk.

Not really dissolving at all actually. They’ve gained more than they’ve lost in the past year with Engels, Murphy, Hassan and Kejelcha. Plus Centro is still technically NOP.
Actually not necessarily true. Groups can be beneficial or detrimental. We see frequent overtraining at the collegiate level as well but sponsored athlete also tend to overreach too.
Not surprising to see NOP athletes scattering to save their health and well being along with their careers.
The main reason the US is having more success is faster milers tackling longer distance. And Kenyans overtraining or avoiding the track entirely.

And maybe more accurate and frequent drug testing and the whole Russia exclusion as of late

I have seen NO confirmation.

Ya not sure what he's referring to. Salazar is definitely active in coaching Rupp, Hasay, Engels, Murphy, Hassan, and Kejelcha.
You’re an idiot.

Some problems here.
Lagat does not have the records for road 5k or track 10k (duh)
Ryan Hall doesn’t have the marathon record-give KK his due, as he was better than Hall as a marathoner in every single way. Besides that, 25k and 30k aren’t even records worth keeping.
I don’t know what record Max King has, but I know that whatever it is, it’s an irrelevant event.
As someone already pointed out, Rupp has some relatively impressive indoor records.
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal that the likes of Rowbury and Centro are moving on from training with NOP. Both are top-tier, championship-caliber athletes in the back halves of their respective careers. They know what works and what doesn’t. It might just be time to move along and do their own thing while the young guns like Murphy and Engels move in and learn the ropes at NOP. The veterans don’t need the group as much anymore.

So everything in this thread could just be trolling.

Because you make your teammates better and they make you better. You can't do that if you are not training together daily.
Group training is the reason that the U.S. is competitive again.
Maybe with Bowerman. Not in NOP. Rowbury and Hassan do not train together. Rupp and Farah stopped training together even before Farah left. NOP as a whole doesn't have enough athletes in the same events to qualify as a training "group." Even Simpson, while she may have training partners, doesn't have a group. Centro, while he may train with people, doesn't have a daily group he trains with.

Yes, NOP athletes are distancing themselves from Salazar because of the PED accusations, but the group is not "dissolving." They have added young athletes like Hassan, Kejelcha, Murphy and Engels. Older athletes like Ritzenhein, Farah, Rupp and Rowbury are moving on to the roads or their next career.
Where is she going to law school? Berkeley or Hastings?

Don't you just love a person who can actually find fault with a runner (never mind the NOP issues for a moment) who ONLY holds one American Record...not to mention two Olympic medals? Yeah, [fill in the blank with the name of your favorite runner who hasn't held multiple ARs] sucks alright! The laughing stock of his/her sport!
Lagat only owns five records? He sucks because he doesn't hold six.
Ryan Hall owns four? He sucks because it's not five.
Gray owns two? He sucks because it's not three.
