What a run by Özbilen
When only one of Turkey's participants actually speaks Turkish. The Kenyans even held the flag the wrong way, Demir had to correct it loool
I think the kenyan guys doesn't even train in Turkey, what's the point of paying money To some east africans who hasn't set a foot in your country? I doubt young turkish guys will be inspire buy those guys.
Pretty good run for the french team in the u23 1 2 4 and 7

In the u20 men Ingebrigtsen outsprint a turkish who looks like 30 years old

It's not fair when you don't have 26 year old mormons and Kenyans "with no birth certificate" competing against your college age athletes.
shopping citizenship is a joke.

I am sure she will prefer a silver against a Kenyan hired gun at NCAAs to anything at this little sideshow.

No idea why.
In terms of her career, her performances in this 'little sideshow' are far more important than a school meet in the US.

I agree but you really can't blame the athletes. Here they are having no realistic prospects of ever making the Kenyan team so imagine their luck when they get approached by foreign scouts promising financial goodies on top of Olympic and WC berths without having to run trials. A pension for life without having to move to the country that's offering it would be hard to decline.

Yep, no wonder they cheat, cheat and then cheat some more.
Athletes coming from a cheating country to another country with a history of cheating.

Hey look! Old and bitter troll serving his tired racist bile from that increasingly irrelevant soggy island that's now a shadow of what it was during colonial days. Keep your head up, Sir. Your country continues to churn out world class athletes in snooker and darts for which you should be proud.
I am more annoyed by the countries than the athletes. I think EA and IAAF are planning some counter measures.
Coming off of NCAAs, both Taylor and Neale did very well for their respective UK teams. Neale in particular has an extensive championship resume for both UW and UK
Enjoyed the morning's athletics after a 6am run in freezing conditions. The biggest disappointment was watching Dewi Griffiths pull up clutching his leg. Another good solid run from Andy Butchart 3rd best in Europe (or 2nd best if we discount Kigen). His club-mate who is Scottish short course xc champ helped Britain to gold in the mixed relay too.

What did people think of the artificial course? Bit of a joke or interesting challenge? The sand section seemed to throw a lot of people, wish they'd made it longer. Likewise the frozen waterjump could have been more interesting if it was a bit longer but as it had a downslope on the approach 99% of the runners managed to get over it. One woman seemed to twist her foot a bit after landing in it. But I can't take xc courses seriously when they are that flat, I used to despise races like that and always do badly on them. Appropriate I guess that they chose Hannah England very much a track not xc specialist to commentate.

He would actually be 1st in Europe. Mechall does not count either.
Mechaal I don't count him because of the Whereabouts issues, but he is as Spanish as anyone else, he was brought up there.
