I noticed that most people still believe that you can get sick just by being exposed to low temperatures. The say “dress warm so you won’t catch blah blah”..
It’s viruses and bacteria that gives you the cold, the flew, pneumonia...
No virus or bacteria- you won’t catch anything even if you’re wet and naked in the snow. Low temperatures can only give you an uncomfortable feeling or at worse cases hypothermia. So why people get sick more during the winter? Because bacteria and viruses survive longer times due to low temperatures and because people keep windows and doors closed and this way if you happen to be in the same place with a sick person- you more likely to catch it since there’s less fresh air and ventilation.
So enough with that mumbo jumbo
