Now there's no question that the SF bay area has some amazing weather most of the year around (usually 60s - 80s the whole year). I understand that by living there, you're paying for things like the weather, hence the cost of living being high.
Now, are there any places with this type of good weather in the US that don't have as high a cost of living?
Mogollon rim area of Arizona? Sedona, Prescott, Payson, etc. Classified as a Mediterranean climate. Milder winters than Flagstaff and the summers are much better than Phoenix/Tucson. Not sure how the job prospects are there though.

No. Pay up or live with heat/humidity/snow/freezing weatehr and the mosquitos/deer flies/gnats etc that f with you when you try to run.
Galapagos islands.
Much of Italy, Spain, Portugal
Some areas in South Africa
Buenos Aires
That is a partial list. If you're asking specifically about areas in the U.S., I can't think of any. You might find somewhere a few hours from the bay area in a semi remote location that drives the price down slightly, although it will stick be pretty pricey. For example, around Morro Bay, home prices are a little lower than the cheapest locations in the SF bay area.

Nah, it's always been nice in SF, it's the tech boom that's causing housing prices to be so high. Plenty of places with fewer jobs and similar weather.
And the cities are much smaller than the Bay area....lots of retirees in Prescott. No sea breeze....
The closest comparison is likely the smaller California cities and towns along the Pacific coast. They have similar weather to SF (usually a little better), but most of those places are either relatively isolated (small towns in the southern portion of the central coast) or nearly as expensive as the bay (Huntington Beach, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, etc).
If you're okay with a little more cold and rain then Seattle and Portland might be places to consider. If you're okay with humid summers and snow once every few years, parts of North Carolina could be an option.
