Looks like she then caught back up and fell over the hurdle on the home turn, taking down athletes around her?
Does anyone know who was involved with that fall at the start of the third lap?
Did anyone notice the cones were like a meter apart on the steeple final?

Haha yea I was def checking for that. Wonder what Quigley would have done in that final?

it was chepkoech, same woman who had the incident with the water jump (assuming you are talking about the fall at the top of the backstretch by the 1500 start line). Not sure who else went down with her.
Thanks. Amazing she still ended up fourth.

You would have been a lot of fun when Mills won in '64.
So perfectly countered!
HS, college, world ranked, folks not on drugs have ups and downs. Yes, really. Even sudden improvements. Moves in either direction are not clear indicators of doping. Yes, it will also happen with dopers, but that alone is no clear proof and those who take such shifts as such, for Kenyans, Ethiopians, Americans or anyone else are misguided. And, sadly, it's the fault of the dopers that starts that skepticism. Not that we need be naive, either, tho.

Shame we'll never know but the moment has passed. Quigley has a PB or 9:20 I think . . . Longer odds on top of long odds
I wonder if anyone picked the podium or that 1-2 finish in the contest? Also long odds.

They appealed. What more did you want them to do? Threaten to nuke England?
Better yet, they could have sicked Trump on them.
But, in all seriousness, is appealing after you already agreed that the DQ was warranted really an appeal? The USATF gave those idiots an out before even thinking of our athlete. So I definitely wanted more out of them.

Only if you think anyone who won in '64 was clean.

Not anyone. Billy Mills yes, I think Billy was clean. But then I have read a lot about him, and not so much was available back then compared to now.
