2014 🥇 Commonwealth Games (defeats season form girl Hellen Obiri)
2015 🥈 World Championships (ahead of more fancied Sifan Hassan)
2016 🥇 Olympic Games (beating overwhelming favourite Genzebe Dibaba)
2017 🥇 World Championships (with the Caster Semenya dynamic in the race dusting everyone including LR darling Laura Muir)
She wasn't even most people's favourite this year with many picking Hasan over her.
FAITH IS A LEGEND!
When Will Faith Kipyegon Get Some REAL Love on These Boards?

She's ridiculously underrated.
Gold medalist, second fastest this year, yet not considered? I knew she was going to win. Muir and Hassan have shown dodgy tactics before (Rio), whereas Faith has really good tactics. -
I love her ..She gets mad love!
-
I love her!

I'm guilty of not considering a primary contender - not even sure why. I doubt she'll be underrated again. Back-to-back world titles is extremely rare.
-
I always considered her co-contender. The other shifted from Hassan to Semenya. Like everyone else, I didn't give Jenny near enough credit. So really it is Simpson I owe a bit of an apology.
Experience won the day. -
Spectacular run tonight. I'm curious to see what the internediate times will be from 800m out.
-
She is young, probably only 21 or 22, I know she was junior only 4 or 5 years ago. She won WJR XC at age 16, which is the youngest winner ever. With her speed and strength, I would love to see her race Ayana in a 5K or 10K. Btw, when I first saw her as a junior, she looked like a legit teenager. As good as she is, I don't think she will ever get close to GD's 1500 WR.

Definitely agree with El Keniano: she is consistent (can't say the same for Dibaba), throws down fast times (can't say the same for Simpson), and rises to the occasion at championships (more so than anyone else). I like Hassan but had Kipyegon ahead of her--the only person I thought could beat Kipyegon was a full force Genzebe, and she is nowhere to be found.

She's the DJ Kaled of women's middle distance racing:

Great race by Faith Kipyegon. When 800 was passed in 2:17+ I was surprised F Kipyegon won. I was very impressed by Kipyegon.
-
Last 800 possibly under 2:00
-
When Kipyegon and Miur ran the slow 2nd lap, that told me that Kipeygon was not afraid of Semenya's big kick.

exactly, I was sure Caster was winning at that point. -
To answer OP's question because she is not white and/or an American.

Not a fan.
Yet another age-cheat Kenyan who benefits from the country's systematic doping programme.
Congrats to Jenny Simpson (clean winner) and Laura Muir (clean WR holder). Hope the cheats are exposed in due time. -
Faith winning her junior world XC title. Blatant age cheat.

FAITH IS A LEGEND!
El Keniano,
I've just watched a recording of the entire day's event......without knowing the results.I kept from any communication gadget.
I jumped across my living room like a retard (ha ha ha ha ha!)
Faith is the master (or is it the mistress?) of the metric mile.
Faith is a living legend!
NBC needs to respect her.
NBC is evil!
