I see some workouts that are just absolutely insane to me
ex
"4x400 FR (at 800 pace)" with 400 jog 8 weeks away from your most important race
"3x600 FR w/ 1k jog recovery"
"600 FR, 1k jog, 2x400 FR w/ 400 jog recovery"
"600 FR, 600 jog, 3x300 FR w/ 500 jog recovery,
Maybe this is just standard 800m specific training because I am clueless about running training but these seem a bit overly intense in the leaving your race in training way. Are there any of you who don't/didn't do these workouts but approached 800m workouts differently?
