It is also interesting, to me, anyway, that two posts above as I write, posted under different names (I did not post either of them), mentioned pornography. I sometimes ask why after thousands of years of recorded human history that only in recent years has the widespread acceptance of so-called "same-sex marriage" emerged when nowhere at anytime before, say, the 21st-century, was such a relationship widely regarded as a marriage. Not in Renaissance Europe, not in Africa in the 10th century, not in South America in the 4th century, not in China in... you get the point. Were more than 99% of all human beings who lived, anywhere, anytime before the 21st-century, bigots and haters, or did they simply have a different paradigm for understanding these things?
Does porn have much to do with this, perhaps via a distortion of the proper use of sexual faculties? Does some environmental pathogen have something to do with the rise of hermaphroditism or intersexuality?

Again...I will ask one more time: Why care? How does what Brian Smith does in life effect your life at all? Or any other LGBTQ person? You live your life and hope people don't judge you and let them live their lives.
Why do I care? If you look back to my OP, I was simply stating facts. It is a former nationally-ranked thrower (this is not just a distance forum) that has made a nice career as an actor and has done something significant. You may not agree with that person's lifestyle. That doesn't change what they have done and this is worthy of note in the connection from acting to track and field.
You clearly feel strongly that men are men and women are women. You don't speak for everyone, nor should you feel as though you have a right to. You have a right to your opinion under the umbrella that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Not just you.
Jenner, Brian Smith, etc... it does not change your life one bit.
