She had a two meter or so lead on grace going into the straight, but she still won GOING AWAY. Tell me how many times you've seen someone do that. At pre she looked spent, she looked good at Vanderbilt a couple weeks back, but today was DOMINANCE.

Jenny has been a great runner and big meet performer for years. I hope she achieves her goals at the World Championships.
I was concerned for her after Pre, but she's really rounded into her old self. I hope she smashes Rowbury's AR this summer.

Objectively, I would say she is the best... if you can't give her that then at least the post consistent. She has run 3:57, won many world and Olympic medals, and wins USAs every time.
What American is better? Simpsons titles and times seem to give her a good argument

She is the second-fastest clean 1500 runner of all time, after Muir. That's something.
Bernard Lagat is the best USA 1500 runner ever male or female, Jenny Simpson is great though.
When she's in shape, she makes it exciting to watch.....for sure.
