Gorgeous weather.
89 degrees and the stands on the backstretch are basically empty again. WTF?
She has a gold medal, but Michelle Carter is a BIG girl.
Stowers ran a very fast 12.47 in the 100 hurdles, but Harrison ran 12.58 into a -2.4m/s headwind!
You think they could've at least put up some temperate shade or allow it .
Fred Kerley up, can he beat that 43.70?
Clear your mind of Can't

Kerley 44.03 doesn't win by a lot
looked to me like he got out a little rough, right? seemed to be lagging until 150m or so
Yeah he went out very conservative, then started cranking with 200 to go.
Came out of the blocks so slow it almost seemed like he was nursing something.

I think he likes to run more even than most. I wonder if he was pulling a bit of a safety. It's certainly easier to get top 3 that way.

I texted out guys on the ground in Sacramento as I hadn't heard from them. They wrote back that they thought the meet started at 5 pm ET and that they had been out shopping for clothes to get ready for the Oiselle party tonight.
I'm not sure if they are joking or not. If you'd like to work for us, please email me your resume. My mom isn't going to take my firing of my own brother well but it's clear to me that those guys need to focus on their social life.
One can't do it all - run, journalism and social life. You have to pick two of 3.
For the record, they were joking.
futch & dutch are in!
I hear Mike Jay on the PA. How's he doing? I was at the Trials last year and the announcers were very good. I love how relaxed they are there and the way they flow with stats.
LOL Dutch "retired" last year didn't he?
