My hair gets tangled even when it's in a ponytail, so I don't know what kind of magic they use. patti?
I am disgusted and embarrassed for what this forum has become. This was once a support forum and now people are actually flaming Camille for winning an international highly competitive road ultra. Grow up kids.
For the record, Camille is a very kind lady IRL and has a passion for running like no other. Stop tearing people down LetsRunners.
Anyone else disgusted? wrote:

It would be very easy for the brojos to stop all this on LR, but they won´t because it attracts people.
Colleen De Reuck ~ 7th place overall !!!

What are you clamoring on about? This thread is OVERWHELMINGLY supportive of Camille. Yeah there is always one or 2 trolls but you need to grow up and ignore them.
When Camille used to post on here she was very much respected by the majority.
7th for Colleen De Reuck is indeed also amazing at 53yo, less than 25 minutes behind Camille
kinda glad Colleen is aging out of the F50 age group in a couple years because she is ruining the stats for me (lol same age group) but you certainly will never find me doing an ultra, definitely not tough enough
she's got to try a sub 3 marathon at 60, I bet she can do it like Joan Benoit will
the youtube video with her during the race is fascinating
has Camille ever discussed her arm swing?
I mean obviously it works for her, she has elite times at several distances
and I cannot recall at the moment but there is at least one other elite that has the same kind of swing that I distinctly remember
however it freaks me out a bit, actually more than a bit, a lot
she has to be trying to use it for momentum but I wonder if she has ever tried the style that east-africans use with just keeping them high and tucked
the strain on her back must be enormous

She must have trained her arms to function in that way, not on purpose, but probably by pulling bands to her sides. Having her arms in opposition like that definitely throws off her strides. In particular look at the way she bobbles and almost stops every stride. The antagonistic actions would take some work to overcome, but could definitely be improved, with positive results for her running.

Bit of an organisational problem at 13:40, an arch and timing mat and Camille thinks the race is finished. Walks and high fives the crowd, only gets running again when another runner passes and tells her she hasn't finished.
Congrats to Camille on another very impressive win and to those talking negatively about her I'm thinking you haven't actually met her because there couldn't be a better ambassador for our sport than Camille. She is friendly and always willing to give others helpful advice. I guess this kind of thing is unavoidable on an anonymous message board where people get to hide behind a keyboard but I really think more pros would post here if this place wasn't always so negative and quick to trash other's accomplishments.
thanks for the great youtube video, what a horribly organized finish to a race, why doesn't the lead woman at least have a bike to follow? it's not some 5k
here is an extended podcast interview with her a week now after the race
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
