Even if the tweet reflects honest boohooing thoughts from Asbel Kiprop, he did delete. Meaning that on some level, at least, he realizes he made a mistake. Probably, anyway.
Who among us hasn't had hissy-fit thoughts from time to time? Who hasn't spoken something that was regretted soon thereafter? Or sent an email he or she regretted, and which couldn't be taken back? Or tweeted something he or she regretted, and later deleted to minimize (but not always eliminate) damage?
We're all less than ideal. Even a running god like Pre pissed off a few people with his mouth. I'magine Pre in the Twitter age! It's just that nowadays social media exposes more of our weak moments.
I'd say, aw, give Kiprop a break, unless he is staying in character. I'm not familiar with his history. One thing's certain -- I'll be glad to see him succeed on the track again, and again, and again, even if he is a pouter.
