This seems like the key question
I share it with my mom. That makes both of us feel more secure.
What would be the point? She can text if she wants to reach me. Most of the time when I travel for business she doesn't even know what city I'm in, let alone the hotel.
My wife knows the password to my password manager which contains the password for my phone, so theoretically she always has access to my location.
I will occasionally look up her location. Not because I don't trust her, but because she's hyper sensitive and if I send her a text asking her where she's at (no matter how nice I try to phrase it), she assumes that I'm mad that she's not home and she rushes right home.

Interesting. I've often suspected that my dog is having me tailed.

You've trained her well.

Do you share your location with your s/o? Would you if asked?
Married 24 years. I don't share it with her, but she hasn't asked. If and when she does, I will.
If you are James Bond, and need to go to secret locations, get another phone, and leave the tracking phone at the office so you can sneak off. YOu can even have the tacking phone forawrd calls to your secret phone so she can call you while you chase Dr No. It's not like she is putting a dog collar on you and yanking your leash. Oh, wait...
Too soon
It's nobody's business where I am at any point in the day.
