Sydney Mclaughlin- New Balance

I've seen her wearing a bunch of Under Armour recently. Google it.

If you look at the video from the race she did not wear the race kit the other New Balance ladies wore.

But on another note Sammy Watson has been wearing a Nike Pro kit.

New Balance has been giving her free stuff for years. Glad someone else here finally caught on.

I noticed that her outfit was different, but it still clearly looked like a New Balance issued pro kit, just different design to make it less apparent they are probably giving her free stuff. The backpack she had on looked just like the pro ones too.

I just don't get how it's legal. So companies can sponsor high schoolers now? Too bad for them she will be at a Nike school for the next four years.

Can we all acknowledge that she is a babe?

Is the NB kit she was wearing was one that was given out during a HS elite meet? The brooks PR meet gives out Brooks uniforms to all those athletes, Footlocker gives uniforms, NB games in boston gives uniforms.

Give it a rest.

High Schoolers can and do get clothing, shoes and gear for elite meets. A small group of teams and individuals get 'custom' kit at the New Balance Indoor and Outdoor nationals, Brooks, Nike XC, etc.

No scandal here- move along.

If a handful of superstar studs (Syd, Sammy W, etc) want to wear the stuff, let them. It's legal, its free, and lets be honest... it may be smart when they do end up going pro at some point.

You didn't watch the high school indoor championships earlier this month

High schoolers who run at various events (NB Indoor Games, the DMR thing, etc....) get a TON of free gear from the sponsors.

Socks, pants, leggings, shorts, a singlet, short sleeve, long sleeve, and a jacket.

And they may even get a couple of each ....

How many events has she run in that were these invitational sponsored meets??
