Rabbits are supposed to run 2:03:04 pace (WR is, of course, 2:02:57). Kipsang said he wants to come through first half in 61:30.
thanks, henrik.
I just checked the weather, looks like 43 in Tokyo now and 55 is the high, perfect WR conditions!

2:02.50 Kipsang.
I am giving the female race to Birhane.
Great conditions, 46 degrees, little wind, but Tollefsen referred to hills at the 1/2 way point, doesn't sound like a flat course and that finish with a 90 degree turn 100 meters from the finish??
2K 5:43 - fast!

The best quality I've seen ever before on NBCSN ... Actuall HD experience..!
Anyone know the elevation change on the course?
Also - You're crazy and underestimating Saina Betsy. She's on a different level after years of track than Bih.
2:21 1st place win, I'm calling she leaves the rest of the field behind at mile 21.
I like Swangaard, a bit boring but does his homework

Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
