This was a 1200m pursuit race in Montreal tonight. There were cash prizes at each lap which increased exponentially from (I think) $50 for leading after 200m to $1000 for leading at the end of the race. I didn't actually see the race but pretty humorous splits.

Expected outcome. Did Windle fall? His last 200 split looks too slow to be just rigging.
-
This is pretty bad. Is this for real? I guess 800 fantasy is over.
-
Well he DID win the 400 portion. Maybe enough $ to pay for a hotel room.

Can you really find a hotel room in Montreal for 50 bucks?
-
Looks like Drew Windle just cruised the last 200 when it was clear he wouldn't win. He had the lead at 600 and 800 so he at least won a lot more $ than Wariner did
-
Is this 1200m Canadian, or 1200m US?
-
Is was a full 1200.
-
Was he a rabbit?

Sure, it's kind of cramped, but it comes with a dog blanket. -

Probably just a training effort, because after his first 800 (1:53) he said he wasn't going to seriously tackle the event ever, and he noted he never runs farther than 500m in training. He's done though, and should hang them up. He starts out OK each season the past few years, then the injuries hit. He should have hit the roids and gotten buffed out like Merritt. Merritt gains 30 lbs and all of a sudden is consistently running just below or just above 44 flat. And his "newfound" speed at the 200 last year at his age...tsk tsk.
Jeremy, hang 'em up! Keep on eye on those sandwich shops. -

Nah, Wariner's been hurt too many times. Brown was impressive when he kept going, especially because he was clean, but guys like Merritt and Johnson who are and were doped to the gills aren't anything natural competitors should concern themselves with in terms of longevity. -
Jimmy Johns is looking for a new Montreal location. Wariner up there to check out the area and got some spending money while in town. Cant blame the guy

IS LEWIS KENT THE BEER MILE GUY?!

rabbit

He must be going broke

Jimmy John's not supporting the lifestyle anymore.
