So what's teh deal with Big Bear TC?

At some point previously, CS/SB insinuated that there was a little bit of gray-area stuff going on that they didn't want to be part of.

Vigil is just an ex-coach that gives excellent advice but has nothing to do with day in and day out dealings.

Didn't even know he was there tbh and now I know why seeing that he never represented them in competition. What others have been "kicked off?" Was Soratos kicked off or did he choose to quit - article opaque there. Who actually runs BBTC to kick anyone off?

Don't hear Berian trashing Handler. He might not like doing 1000's etc., but he does them.

Could just be personalities. I assume Handler is pretty alpha, and Berian seems pretty beta and compliant, whereas Soratos is at least very outgoing, maybe too competitive as an alpha for Handler?

Pure speculation, but I'm going with contractual situation. Soratos being Adidas and Brown being Nike might not have worked with a New Balance club

Did you read the article? If this were the case, I don't think Soratos would talk about refusing to race representing Big Bear. Sounds a little more serious than brand disputing.

Sounds and looks like the damaging relationship distraction (Soratos and Brown) was removed and then two professionals made the team in Eugene.

I remember this, might have been a flotrack interview with him last spring? Will look for it again, but he definitely implied something beyond a personality clash.

Berian isn't beta and compliant. He is just a chill dude who doesn't want to get involved with nonsense. If he didn't agree with the training he wouldn't do it he would train differently on his own. There are indications he may be doing just that. It appears he hasn't been training with the group this season but is still in the club.

Berian is no beta character. He is a man who stands on his own and is super talented.
