Has averaged about $150K/yr over the past 10 yrs, but only $95K this year. I'm a podiatrist. I was making as much as $250K/yr in Northern Virginia but hated it up there. Now I'm in Richmond, VA. The pay is terrible but the cost of living and environment is much better. I'm much happier here, and hopefully, I'll be re-joining the +$100K club again next year.

Me too. It shows that the really good jobs are in health care. Going into engineering and tech jobs like the media pushes you too, cuts your income potential.
