I'll be the third person to ask. Where's the press release from Oregon State if this is true. I get what you're saying about ASU not posting the job, but why nothing from Oregon State? Did someone credible report the hire?

Let's do some predictions for some of these open distance jobs (some of mine won't be real because I have no idea)
Auburn - Jason Dunn
William and Mary - Alex Gibby
Northeastern - Adam Bray
Cornell - Brien Bell
USC - Jebreh Harris
Harvard - Angela Reckart
Stanford - Brian Bonsey

Who is Brian Bonsey?
He means Brandon Bonsey from Georgetown. And no...just no

Cornell jumps filled. Nate Arnold from William and Mary.
Looks like a good hire, if true. (I'd heard that CU was looking for a multi-type who could cover all four jumps, incl./esp. PV.) I haven't seen/heard any confirmation of the hire here in NYC, but we're not getting much inside info these slow summer days...
Now they just need to get that men's distance/mid-distance position filled. Ivies start the xc season a little later than some other schools, but not *that* much later. And this is prime recruiting time--whoever gets the job had better be able to hit the ground running (so to speak).
Agreed with the recruiting, I feel like a fair number of coaches are reluctant to take these open jobs at this late of a stage

If Harris goes to USC, who goes to UNLV?? Freeman? A job swap
Supposedly one of Akron assistants

Any names besides internal coaches for the CMU one?
Henner to Stanford replacing Oliver.
What's the last XC/T&F "job swap"? It's as common as a Bigfoot sighting.

Neither. I believe jebreh stays at UNLV, and Freeman's best bet would be a smaller college in California or on the west coast
All speculation. This is basically playing madlibs with some of the young coaches in the sport. I can see Dunn taking one of these jobs but that's about it.
Oh my, you mean my predictions are speculation? I thought because I wrote them on message board that made them fact..
Patrick Henner hired at USC. The team was notified today. Starts on Monday, July 17th.

It is confirmed that Louie is leaving ASU. This is by direct word from athletes. They were told directly from Louie that he is leaving for Oregon State. Some athletes got a text from him. So does rassmussen take over? If so, feel bad for the athletes and any potential athletes. He is not a personable guy. Acts like he's coaching's greatest gift and not approachable at all.
Do programs ever make announcements or talk to candidates on the weekends?
Angela Reckhart couldn't handle student demands of an Ivy League setting

If Louie is out at ASU, who will replace him? Will they hire a female or a young up and coming coach or look for a proven veteran?
Rasmussen will probably move up to head XC and they'll bring in someone else to do the operations and assist the distance runners
No way Gibby goes back to W&M. Jason Dunn to W&M.
