DCG over Coffey in the 1500
Will Donson run 1500 or 800? Or both?

He said in an interview after the MIAC 800 that he is unsure right now.
A tough choice for him, I don't see him winning either though.
who all from the distance miac is running at nattys?
DCG, Olaf 1500 squad, Bugler, ???
Hatton (12) and Withbroe (15) are likely going as of now. Ebner is sitting in 20th right now, so there's a real shot. Furthermore, a fresh Jewson, Fredrickson, and Krogman all fought a fresh Hatton to the line in the prelims. He ran way better than them in the finals, but there's something to be said for sticking with him--I'd say that means they're on his level for one fast race before his XC conditioning superiority takes over. Fredrickson, specifically, closed on him FAST. Krause also has a 1:52 PR, Huffman a 1:54 and it seems he has room to improve. I wouldn't bet money on any of these guys, but I also wouldn't be surprised if one or two of them finds an extra gear at a last chance meet, mainly the seniors Krause and Fredrickson. All that 800 hype seems to have some merit.Whoever opened the Ole 4x800 should give it a whirl, too.

Here is an entries list for the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse NCAA Qualifier this weekend.
Ebner is in a very promising group, they just need a human sacrifice at the front (or Trotter will do the trick. The guy runs the 800m like a 600m. He fast tho).
Bjork, Krogman, Lillehaugen, and Supinski all running the 800 as well. Why Bjork? Still deciding or just a good speed workout?
Eggers and Lillehaugen in the 1500m. Think he'll do both?
Bug-ler, Hinwood, Rosenau in the steeple. Lehn as well, hmmmm.
I don't see the Hamline guys (Krause, Jewson, Logan), but the entries are open until noon tomorrow. However, other Hamline men are entered already so I don't know what to think.
Hamline has sent kids to NCC in the past--Peterson in the steeple comes to mind. Those heat sheets up yet by the way?
Heat sheets are up for that on NCC's website. The only MIAC guy I saw is Lehn in the 5000. Must be running the steeple for fun if he doesn't shock at NCC.
Now there's a Hamline guy in the 800 at La Crosse but not their best guys...
All this has reminded me that Bethel is going in the 4x400, while St Thomas and Carleton also have a chance. TFRRS has them at 27 and 30, but repeats bring them down 9 and 10 spots, respectively.
I was surprised Withbroe wasn't running the 800 somewhere (maybe he is but I didn't see him). But it's possible that they're putting a fresh-legged 4x400 together, which would almost certainly qualify for natties.
Wait did the 3 different qualifying bethel 4x4's just drop out? is Klamm not in the open 400? What did I miss?
What are you looking at that suggests that?
I went back to the 4x8 video and got as many splits as I could. Here's what I came up with:
Olaf:
Henschel 1:55.3
Eggers 1:54.2
Bjork 1:52.5
Coffey 1:52.0
Carleton:
J. Cook-Gallardo 1:55.7
Withbroe 1:53.8
Sikes 1:55.9
D. Cook-Gallardo 1:49.5
Gustavus:
A. Frederickson 1:55.7
Sandberg 1:55.9
Madigan 1:55.8
K. Frederickson 1:56
St. John's
Lamb 1:56.2
Raasch 1:53.8
Bugler 1:55.2
Zoltek 1:59.7
Couldn't get any other full teams because the video was following the leaders. Anyone else got any splits?
We had Coffey at 1:51.2
Saint John's Raasch could be one to watch for in the future. Has raced very little in college. Only ran a 1:58 before that 1:53 split.
Raasch had a 1:22.95 600m as a freshman. I think he got hurt at conference that year. Not much since, but obviously the wheels are there. Just think about the 800 next year if he gets back too.
St. Thomas:Charlie Jones 1:55.8Sam Karlson 1:59.0Karl Watcher 1:55.1Casey Halbmaier 1:59.0Bethel:David Huffman 1:55.5Dan Wahlstedt 1:56.9Connor Haugen 2:01.5Evan Hatton 1:54.8Hamline:Frank Gustafson 1:56.4Isaac Krause 1:57.1Kellen Overvig 2:01.5Sam Jewson 1:57.4Concordia:David Supinski 1:54.5Nick Solheim 1:59.7Brandon Quibell 1:57.0Matthew Lillehaugen 2:01.8
F'ing Hats OFF to Lachlan for today
St thomas beat bethel though. Hatton and Halbmaier got the baton at the same time and halbmaeier finished first so these camt be right
nah st. thomas had a pretty good gap on bethel before Hatton closed it temporarily. IDK about 5 seconds worth, but close to it. I'd give Halbmair's split maybe a second faster, but not as fast as Hatton's

Parker Valby post 5k interview... Worst of all time? Are Parker Valby interviews always cringe?
MSU men > NAU by 1 point even though Nico Young and Colin Sahlman tripled!!
