He didn't make the Trials last year aand it only took 3:39.5. You can say he didn't have the chances some of our other 3:40 Americans got. This year, with Ray Flynn as his agent, he will get into many races. He will for example run Millrose indoors and have the slowest PR by several seconds. He won't spend long as a "miler" or he will be reduced and then out of the sport inside 5 years. Or, he will be on what ever show/welfare program Nike and German Fernandez have agreed on (though he did run a 3:34 once in the last 5 years of being pro).
I can't see Drew breaking 3:36, but that will still put him in the top 6 at year's end and the 1500 always looks like you were close.
Haven't heard exactly who training with? Andrews just a rumor? Same shoe sponsor; same agent.
