I am looking to make a big jump in the 5k this spring and want to give higher mileage a try. The most i've done consistently is 80-90, with a high of around 100 but only a week here and there. What does everyone think the best way to consistently hit 100 miles a week is, if you are doing 2 hard sessions(track, tempo, fartlek, etc.) and a sunday long run. How many days should you double? What pace should you run for your easy days, hard days? If anyone could post a sample week that has worked for them, that would be great. I am a 14:45 5k guy by the way.
