That Bolt guy:
You can't choose one. Bekele (both brothers, Kenenisa form is so powerful), Dibaba (both sisters Tirunesh ( Tirunesh hand movement though is a bit odd from side to side and high, and Genzebe perfect), kipchoge (very relaxed and the hands movement nice close to the body) also Gebrselassie, Farah (huge stride seems so easy and light, I like his kinda bounce at each step, apart from his suffering faces at every ending) at middle distance Rudisha.
As for wierd forms-
Siffan Hasan, Prishca Jeptoo, Kipsang (the only wierd thing is that his arms move very low giving him this tall upper body look with no forward lean, Ayana form is very nice apart from her hand that is a bit odd- far from the body

for men:
Albuterol Salbutamol Androgel Salazar
for women: Paula "I am asthmatic!... and anemic!.. with a hemoglobin value of 16.2 g/dL in 2012!!! which is way ABOVE normal (12.0 g/dL to 15.0 g/dL normal range) for a woman, with another hemoglobin value of 15.6 g/dL in 2003!!! which was after a 21.88% increase in hemoglobin value in just 2 days!!!…and another hemoglobin value of 15.1 g/dL in 2005!!!…………. But these were leaked values.
Even though the leaked hemoglobin values are ABOVE normal…Paula has a history of anemia (=BELOW normal hemoglobin value)…which has really been treated way better than any woman who has ever been treated for anemia... in the entire history of planet earth.
Paula is also tougher than any regular human and can endure more pain than any other human in the history of planet earth.
Paula "Perfect Blood" Radcliffe also has the best form ever seen in a female human runner... in the entire history of planet earth.
She would DESTROY Tirunesh Dibaba by about a mile in the marathon.
The Clean (anemic and asthmatic) Brit DESTROYS Tirunesh Dibaba.
Go Paula!!!!!!!!!!!!

The question was …Who has the best form ever?
OK?

Bekele and T Dibaba are my votes. Biomechanically perfect and what you imagine when you think of a perfect mover.
Special mentions to Asbel Kiprop and Jeff Risely (even though he's not in the caliber of the others). They have more unorthodox techniques that still mesmerize me to watch.
Didn't we decide this thread last week?
Ovett, El G, Kipketer, Juantorena, WvN.
Ovett in the modern era, no question. 800 through to 9 miles XC!
Elliott looks pretty impressive if you find footage of the Rome 1500!

Ovett leaned forward too much. Torso should be perpendicular to track.
If you're talking about range, yes, one of the best. He did look stylish too, but not the best form.
1500m: Bernard Lagat is silky smooth. Kiprop is very pretty to watch.
Centro.
Abebe Bikila
Case closed
Bernard Lagat
Without a doubt!! !
Increadible turnover
Perfect posture incredible rhythm

Rudisha and Evan Jager.. Jager's long loping stride makes running seem so easy.. Effortless running by both athletes.
Agree about Rudisha and Jager. I would add Kenny B. and Haile G. Another less obvious one that comes to mind is Josephat Machuka, the guy who hit Geb in the head in the junior champs 10k in 1992. Look at his form in the 1996 Oly 10k final; it is perfect.
I think it's David Rudisha.
Agree that you can't beat Lagat for smoothness.
On the women's side, I'd go back to Mary Slaney.
Don't agree with you about Ovett! Maybe his form changed slightly as he got older, perhaps after his famous accident involving the church railing?
would like to throw another name or two out there; Snell (when running sub 60 sec pace) and Viren?
Centro, Lagat, Bekele, Geb. These guys make it look so effortless, perfect form. Hard to pick one.
