Hey crew,
I'm a former runner, 25 year old male, looking to return to running after 0 training over the last two years. I'm still in shape (crossfit, yoga, etc) but have done no running. I was a 16:30 5k runner about 7 years ago. Last time I trained relatively competitively i ran a 4:47 mile which was 2 years ago. Haven't run since that race.
I want to return to being a sub 17 5k runner. What should my mileage ramp up look like, and how long do you expect it to take? I'm thinking about starting with a few weeks of 25ish to get the hang of things again, and eventually make my way up to 70.
