Rhode is certainly impressive and there is plainly skill involved, but skeet is hardly a real sport. Maybe it's a step up from equestrian, but not much of one. Shooting and dressage always seem to have some of the oldest Olympians because the physical demands are the least.

Having lower physical demands doesn't mean it's not a real sport.

That just means you have difficulty understanding the what the word 'sport' means.

I know what a real sport is, and it doesn't include shooting, dressage, fishing, darts, poker, snooker or anything else that doesn't require a reasonable level of physical fitness, even if it's in the Olympics or on ESPN. Those things may involve an admirable level of skill for their best practitioners, but that doesn't make them real sports.

Distance running doesn't require enough skill to qualify as a sport. Maybe middle distance is demanding enough, but certainly not LD.

Yes, clearly it's the Trump factor. For the past 20 years we have ignored her, knowing that she would eventually support a racist buffoon for president.

It's shocking that on a site devoted to running nobody made a bigger deal about a competitor who stays as motionless as possible.

Skeet shooting should be combined with the discus throw at the next Olympics.
