Curious as she was switched out before the heat that the US women ran alone in and obviously did not run the final.

No
Yes
No. She didn't participate in the heats.
Bartoletta, Felix, Bowie, Gardner and Akinosun are the gold medalists.
The rule is any runner who ran in the heart or final will medal. If she didn't participate in the heets then no. The OP said she participated but I guess was wrong as was I
Actually, just I was wrong
They should have put Clovis CA's Jenna in the heats. Sure, Allyson and English are Los Angelenos. It would have been nice to see some love for Fresno. Jenna will have more chances. She's our darling CIF sprint star.
Well- her 11.11 2nd place in Luasanne today wasn't a consolation prize but she did beat some top ranked ladies to the line...probably they've been partying too much with Bolt. Hope she get the experience running in Europe this year and just start her season later next year.
She thought she was going to get a medal and instead she goes home empty handed and DEVASTATED!
Says- she still has the 200 in Paris...but with Schippers there-doubt if she will get the bouquet.
She showed some outstanding top end speed in today's race but a wretched start and early acceleration phase. She was way, way back much of the race but zoomed past all but Thompson (who thumped the whole field in one of the best times ever, and after having already raced the same distance a few minutes earlier) in the closing 30m. Obviously, she is better at 200m than 100m, though she's run 10.92. But I would bet that with her closing speed and her relatively slight build, she'd be even better at 400m than 200m (or, dare I say it, 800m?).

She better not show up with bulging deltoids and traps.....Then she is no better than the rest of the American frauds/liars/cheats.
Come on you know all of the US sprinters all natty.....

This.
She reps the clean athletes.
GORGEOUS woman too. UUUUNNNNFFFFF
Wonder if she wears thongs?
If you google her name, first hit has her with a gold medal for the relay.
Several sites show her as getting a gold medal from the relay...probably not accurate though.
I see NBCOlympics has her listed as a medalist. Checking with a contact there.
