My Top Three in no particluar order
John McDonnel
Bob Severly
Meb and Deena's Coach
1. Sev
2. Hansons
3. Hudson
4. Vigil
I think that Mcdonell is excellent, but I don't think he cares about the post collegians.
1500-5k Warhurst
5k-10k Hudson
Marathon Hansons
Cross Vigil
Sev and Hudson
I'd say he cares his boy just won worlds and he trains with the team every day. He did the same for Falcon and Lassiter.
Stupid to say who is the best coach or to rank them. All of the above are good coaches. Very impressed with what the Hansons are doing but my feeling is that Hudson is vastly better than most US coaches especially considering age and European training ideas.
gags
Who has Hudson coached besides Ritz that has done well in the 10K?
matt centrowitz
Hudson has done a great job with both Ritz and Shayne, but both of them were Olympians before he ever started coaching them. That is not a criticism, just a fact. I like what the Hansons have done by bringing guys into the elite level that never were before. I think that both of them are doing a better job than others.
I think the guy just started coaching men. Ritz is his first male Track runner i think. I don't really know him but he seems to have alot of knowledge. I like Gags or Centrowitz.
Brad is a very good coach that will only get better. He has enthusiasm for the sport beyond anyone i know.
Based on what?

100% on the money. A successful coach of athletes after college should Never have coached at the college level. College coaches don't understand that there is a difference.
Most athletes don't either
We need to help all the elite centers. We need options for our post college athletes.
