here are my current training shoes:
H Street (track spike with rubber outsole)
Maxcat Street (old Nike XC shoe w/ new Maxcat upper)
NB 240 (xc shoe).
Here are the problems with those three:
-The NB 240 is a littel awkward in how it fits me and getting towards too much shoe. Mind you it does the job well, but it's definitely my least favourite.
-The Maxcat street is very good, fit could be slightly better, and midsole could be a little thinner, but I haven't too much to complain.
-The H Streets have the best ride, but the rubber outsole is so passive and so soft that it makes running on anytime of reasonably slick surface dangerous.
I want to perfect shoe, and it's not really made these days so guys like LaWoof and I have to fix shoes to make them work better for us. I'll try the Eldorets and likely the Vents too if I ever get some extra cash to blow. Ideally, I want something like an Eldoret or vent just for track workouts/races and then a modified Eldoret or Vent for everything else. No transitions.
BTW -- I have a pair of the Waffle 3, not bad, but just too narrow for my left foot.
