I'm sitting here and I hear some splits being yelled and think it's some dad yelling at his kid as there is some activity on the track. I look up and it's Centro being paced I think by Kyle Merber. I here 53-54-55 as they hit the 800. Another guy in a NOP shirt jumped in on the backstretch and Centro motored all the way around again to the finish.
It had to be an 800 and I'm pretty sure I heard someone say 1:49.3. Pretty impressive as Centro only ran 1:47 today.
He's fit, I hope he medals!
I hoped he would get in a 3k/5k before the Olymlics, but I guess he didn't want to to travel to Europe and there's honestly not that many opportunities
These 800's are probably negligible, just something to break up the motonomy in a tough training block

There's no doubt that he's in shape and training hard. It's just that the Kenyans and Mahkdaddy are better.
