I find this horde of children asking for things from the winner very strange.

Daniel Herrera
Where did they get these cheerleaders? The local strip joint?

So they are having a twitter poll if they should scrap the top 3 at the Trials go to the Olympics in light of Keni Harrison's WR.
I would NEVER trust the governing body of track & field in the U.S. objectively selecting anything, even the brand of popcorn at the concession stand without bias. Subjectively selecting "some" Olympians? No way in hell from where I stand!
How annoying is this crowd of kids that mobs the winners of the races asking for all items on their person besides their clothing? Like 10+ kids all yelling "can I have..." you can tell the athletes are like wtf? These kids have no idea how good these athletes are - show some respect.
Murphy gave Centro a lesson.

Exactly

I just ordered the Swerve Ball.
I visited the Swerve Ball website and watched the video. Then, I saw a YouTube video with some kids showing how easily the Swerve Ball dents. Looks really cheap. Better to buy a Blitz Ball instead.

Mr. Guy is Opinionated and he's right.

Did the interviewer just ask Centro how he pulled of the win. Whoops!
Ouch. But she was one hell of a half miler!

Nah, just those who've tested positive for drugs.
Gotta give Torrence credit to moving to Peru where the drug testing is top notch. Good on ya, DT!
They were so relaxed during that homestretch that it seemed they were giving no effort. They both have such excellent form.

That homestretch looked like a battle of two people trying to look the most relaxed while pulling away from the field.
Murphy actually out-relaxed-looked Centro and did it for the win.
don't forget you have to be +18 to call and order.

I'd pay for myself and my Ivy League play by play partner, Bill Spaulding, (he's a pro and good and doing the Olympics this year for some sports) to go down there and do it. I promise you we'd be better than what they've got. I'll even pay Bill's salary.
And how many people watching ESPN do you think care at all about a distance race? I want to see Prandini, Francis, de Grasse and Powell. U turned the TV to women's tennis during the 1000, and I don't think I'm the only one to do that.
Why do you continually visit a site dedicated to distance running and post about how much you dislike distance running and how you think distance runners are not athletes? It's pretty weird.
Hopefully the winner of the mens 100m will hold his speed through the line and blow apart the mob of kids

Well those kids on YouTube probably weren't hitting it with the Swerve Sleeve on the bat. That's where they and I will differ.
They probably ran the ball over with a car, then pretended the denting was from normal use so they didn't get in trouble from mom and dad.

He didn't move to Peru. Nice try though.

Right... and Centrowitz won the 1000m tonight.

It's like a shakedown seconds after finishing. So bizarre. "I'm gonna need your headband, medal, and shoes."
