It's average to overweight by this forum's standards. Remember that everyone here regularly runs sub 4:00, makes $350,000 base plus a gigantic performance bonus, and dates only the hottest women.

Reality, the average to overweight person can't even break 30:00 if they go out right now and run. Even a lot of thin people can't easily break 30:00 at a moment's notice. Even most fit people who do other types of exercise lack the specific endurance to run well. One of the local CrossFit studios showed up to a race, and while I know that CrossFit can be pretty messed up, these people certainly looked super fit: great muscle tone and six packs. (And the female instructors were really good looking...I kind of want to check out a class.) Most of them ran in the high 20s at best. Several were over 30.
