hello all,
been doing a hard block of training for the last month with a rest week this week. i've noticed that my weight for the last few days is up almost 8-10 lbs from the 4th of july. obviously i realize that most of this is water weight but strangely, it seems to be sticking around.
it has been super hot and humid recently and i've read that the body tends to retain more water in the heat. however, with several uphill races coming up, i'd prefer to not be carrying 8-10 extra pounds. does anyone have suggestions as to how i might combat this phenomenon? has this ever happened to you?
let's assume that its only 1-2 lbs of extra fat and the other 6-8 are water.
