I coach have a pretty good girl (5:04-11:06)who is a HS senior. We have slowly got her running at a pretty high level with a fairly high volume approach. After her race on Sat. her left IT was pretty sore at the knee. Since them she has just taken off and we were in the pool the last two days. What are the chances the kicking etc. could aggrivate it more than I am thinking? Do you all suggest a particular pool routine that has worked for you? Any other IT band sufferers out there?
