it's b/c someone gave him a flat tire and his heal was out of his shoe for most of the race! Tough break. Would have been better off having the shoe come completely off. Anyone who has ever had that happen knows it throws off the entire race. Nike will protest and he WILL be in the next round!!!

In 2011 Centro won NCAA, won the trials, and bronze at WC. That can't really be used as excuse.

Good god man, the kid has never raced heats like this before...his racing knowledge is practically zilch. He's also a little burned, but should have had enough talent to make it through, with some experience and smarts. He didn't move soon enough and then got nailed by fresh legs.

On one of the Brazier/Berian threads I said that I didn't think Brazier was a lock at all, but nobody even bothered to respond to me. He's not "done", he's just toast because he peaked exquisitely for NCAAs and wasn't even planning on running the trials until he ran that 1:43 a couple weeks ago. Also keep in mind that that NCAA performance was a massive outlier for him. On his second-best day he can't even beat the best collegiate competition.

By the way, whoever said Brazier had shoe problems was making that crap up. I just rewatched the race 3x. He had no problems whatsoever. He just failed to race well.
Is it too late to qualify for world juniors or unsign his contract and go back to school?
