Yeah. Possible.
Someone capable of running 8 x 400 sub 60 is going to be around a 4 minute miler. I'd say a 4 minute miler could do 6:00 easy pace, but in a workout, you're going to need like a 5/10 guy. This workout is possible for someone who could run around 4/13:30
possible for an elite athlete if its all happening back-to-back. if its in 24 hours i think a lot of people could do it.

Obviously not for you if you're asking ...
Not that hard for even a sub-elite 10k/marathon. The first eight miles relatively easy, the 400s hard but reasonable, the last eight miler more a function of being on your feet/distance. I was a 4:10, 14:30, 29:00, 2:19 guy and reasonably certain I could handle.

Igy, you are all over the place with those times. 14:30-29:00 aren't the same type of runner. Also, I don't think 6:00 pace for 8 miles is difficult, but it will put some fatigue in a 8x400m workout. The 8x400m @ 59.8, 1min rest is typically 3:59-4:03 type work, and doing it after a steady 8 miler would make it a 3:55 or better type workout.
Most your 2:19 guys can't do that quarter workout fresh by the way, two different engines.
I'd say a 5k guy in the 13:20/13:30 range could do that workout.
Americano,
Sorry, meant 29:50 for the 10k.
I agree that the 10 x 400m is a good test for a miler. I rarely raced the mile, but decent speed 3:05 3/4 mile, 4:17 mile and 14:04 three mile as 19 year old. I routinely did 440 sessions (1970-1976) with similar pace and recovery. Once doing 20 x 440 on a grass track similar pace and recovery (1972), the same year I ran my first marathon (2:22:20). I averaged during that time period 110 miles per week, with high mileage at 175. On a morning run on an easy day I was out the door at 6:00 pace. So my point is the strength would be the operative factor. If you are not accustomed to either the speed or the distance you will suffer in the middle or end.
Steve Prefontaine was 13:20 guy and would do a sub 50 ten miler with 3/4 miles in the beginning, middle and end at sub 3:00. No rest.
