Not gonna lie that was one of the most impressive 800's I've ever seen from a college guy, let alone a freshman! He started letting up 30-40m from the line and slow jogged the last 10m. Could have easily gone a full second faster and possibly even below 1:44. Hard to believe he could actually be in sub 1:44 shape!
