First documentary in a long time where I felt legitimately inspired. Three guys trying to get to the top of a peak in the Himalayas. One had been involved in skiing accident five months earlier, which severed one of the arteries going to his brain. He was able to rehabilitate himself to get ready for the climb, but he actually had a stroke on the way up. Incredibly, he kept going. That, to me, is among the craziest dedication I've ever seen.
One of the guys, Jimmy Chin, has said the most important component to his training is "the long run", which obviously boosts his stamina. It's amazing what running can get you ready for physically.
