The 800 was the most impressive as he won by over 7 seconds. He also came back to anchor the 4 X 400, but his team ended up third.
Pretty impressive stuff in the 800.

I'm really starting to think doubles and triples are overrated. I mean like every week there is a new thread about some amazing double or triple. Obviously it isn't difficult for these top runners

I think the OP was just posting this for info, not claiming any amazing status.
Well, at championships you're just racing for the win, but considering that he's already run sub 4 for the mile this year and is the national leader at 800 meters, this kid will be one to watch.

Very true, if we can't get to see him in a mile or 1500 with Hunter, hopefully he can at least get an 800 with McGorty or Lomong
Sounds like a nice easy day of running. A successful day as well!

Bruh,
Dude has mark of the beast!!!! Last digit for all times from all races is 6-6-6!!!!!
I should add that his 800 meter mark was a new state record for all classifications. The old record was 1:50.80.
I was there for the two mile Friday evening. The weather was low 50s and rain. The race was tactical, with early laps high 70s, with fast last 800 meters.

Keep your eye on that Pocatello freshman kid ...
9:34
1:58
4:22
He's a cousin to Elijah Armstrong. Kid is impressive and runs just like him. He also claimed the 4a State title in cross country.
Tim Severa's Borah runner who placed behind Slagowski in the 3200m looked good as well. I think he ran well in the 800m and 1600m.

Yawn, the 800 time was good, everything else was slow for him. Could be he peaked for the sub 4. We shall see.
Was this at altitude?
Lol really? Why would he try and run fast if he is quadrupling at a state meet, he just ran for the win. Don't be dumb
What's the point? I mean he's just making the 1 Mile and 2 Mile guys look like 'near-do-wells'. He ran those races in his sleep. If he'd run against Hunter now, there'd be some serious sparks! Awesome half - then boring workout for this guy. Why not set up a 'showdown'? It would be the best HS mile in 16 years!

2,900 feet. Enough that you feel it when you come down to sea level.
Yawn again for how weak a state is that it can be won by running a 9:36. This is the biggest division of Idaho? I don't know if I have ever seen that slow a time win the biggest division of any state. Igy ,is it always this slow? If so are kids eating too many potatoes?
