And you wonder why parents home school their children...Will Obama allow his daughters to shower with the football team? Seriously, with the state of our economy and the world being upside down, this ass clown focuses on this. We have become the laughing stock of the world.

This decree does not apply to private schools who don't receive federal $, so I would expect a huge increase in the number of private schools as a result of this.

I could have won the state x-country title....and enjoyed some quality shower time afterwards....if only I could get into high school again.

OCR is responsible for enforcing federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination by educational institutions on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, sex and age...

So according to this decree, you can claim to be a 17 year old girl and enroll in your local high school and compete on the girls team no matter what your age is. Seriously, that's what this says. No discrimination based on age. Says it right there in the decree. You can do it.

Doesn't this undo a lot of the problems with title ix?

Women's sports are pretty much a joke. Seems like all schools should just have co-Ed teams. Every so often, a girl like Cain or Rainsberger will score some points at the county meet, but for the most part the more athletic students (the ones with testosterone) will compete.

A school may not require transgender students to have a medical diagnosis, undergo any medical treatment, or produce a birth certificate or other identification document before treating them consistent with their gender identity.

So they can't ask for ANY proof of your claims that you are a 17 year old girl. If they do, you sue. Do it!

Well, does one need anymore evidence that Obama is an idiot?

We need some 1:54 800 / 4:20 1600 guy or better to switch over to the girls team and systematically destroy the girls' national record book for a week in every event, and then switch back. Then we would see how many people want to tolerate this Orwellian decree set down by Obama.

Orwellian = being forced by the government to deny the truth you see right in front of your eyes.

In Orwell's world Government asks "How many fingers am I holding up?" Four fingers are held up, but the politically correct answer is five. Answer wrong, and you get punished.

In Obama's world government puts forth a boy and asks "Is this a boy or a girl?" If you say its a boy, then you are punished.

We are living in an Orwellian State. Make sure you take note about how it occurred so you can tell your grandkids... if you're allowed to.

Like I've said before, this transgender crap is the circuses in "bread and circuses". It's meant to keep us talking about relatively inconsequential bullsh*t, while the criminals in Washington and their backers continue to loot and plunder the country.

When I was a kid, I was a total tomboy. Wouldn't wear a dress and pretended I was Mike Schmidt out in the backyard while fielding grounders with my Dad. I'm now a happily married mother with plenty of skirts in her closet (I still hate dresses).

Transport me to 2016 with a couple of progressive parents, and I'd be on hormone therapy to delay puberty all in preparation for my "transition" to manhood. You could watch it all on my reality show on TLC.

BTW, Jenner, et al. make a mockery of womanhood. A 60+ year old pin-up girl on the cover of Vanity Fair. Spare me.

Why do wen need this? What would that prove? I'm unclear why a guy would want to "prove" something is wrong by making up the fact that he is transgender. I don't see major issues with sports. I think it will be very very rare cases where there is any issue.

I do not agree with the locker room policies where it involves changing and/or showering. That being said, the fear mongering that child molesters are going to be lining up to run into bathrooms and that our sports will be over-run by boys taking over girls sports are over the top.

Because the best way to get rid of a bad law (this isn't a law) is to fully enforce it. We need someone to do this because it will prove that either we're all ready to live in this brave new Orwellian world, or we're not. So let's get to it. Let's find out how open minded we really are. Someone should do it this week... right now.
