Hi Biodad2017,
As others have mentioned, it looks like your daughter already has a pretty clear idea of what she's looking for and is doing all the right things. She should keep reaching out to coaches and make sure to schedule visits where she can shadow a kid on the team and go to a few classes and xc/track practice. That's the best way to get a sense of everyday life at the school.
Just wanted to chime in as a recent alum from the Williams women's program, since the female perspective is sometimes missing on these boards. Williams was the perfect fit for me. The team is obviously very successful, but it's also very close knit, so if your daughter is looking for strong camaraderie that's a big plus. As some have mentioned the school is pretty remote, but that didn't matter for me because the xc and track teams are a ready built community and organize lots of social events.
Your daughter's times are good and it sounds like she has a lot of room to improve. Williams has a big team that runners of all speeds and motivations can enjoy, which is especially good for people who get to college and realize they like running but want to focus more on academics. Keep in mind that Middlebury (and I'm sure some other schools) make cuts, so it's really important that your daughter has a frank conversation with the coach before committing to the school if running is make or break for her.
Good luck to your daughter! I hope she finds a good fit!
