She bought a second house in Portland, OR and still has her house in NH. She lives right next to Forest Park and is on the trails every day often with her dog.
Okay, but does anybody know what she's doing. As in, for a living? I'm always curious what jobs elites "retire" too.
More importantly, what's the URL for her dog's training-advice website?
She's in broadcasting and doing the evening news on ABC.
No, wait! That's PETER Jennings--!!
(Never mind.)
Lynn Jennings, age 42, one of the greatest female runners
ever not on drugs. At age 38 could still run 15:46 for 5k.
Needs to stop screwing around with the marathon, and focus
on training for 1 mile to 10 k. Lynn, if you are out there,
you can keep your speed, if you keep running hard in your
forties.
Job? What job?
Not necessary for Ms. L.J. Savvy with career earnings, owns some pricey real estate on the east coast, single with no offspring, several cars, family money, good investments. Didn't waste money on an agent. Looking good.
I've run by her house in Newmarket, NH a few times. It is on a long, private road with a couple $400,000+ homes nearby. You know it is her house because there is a Nike swoosh on the mailbox. Great investment property!
We don't see too much of her around here any more. I saw her in her old BMW convertible a couple months ago, but that's the only sighting most of us locals have seen of her.
P.S. She's not very friendly. I've crossed paths with her while running on the trails a bunch of times and she won't even look at you or say hi back.
She doesn't own an old BMW convertible and she hasn't lived in Newmarket since the end of 2000. Bad sighting.
Lynn Jennings is awesome. I only got to see her run once but wrote her a letter to sign a poster and she did that and wrote a great message. She then would send updates on how her training was going every few months. Really cool!
If she doesn't appear friendly while running she is probably focused on her training. You don't win three world cross golds stopping every ten minutes to say "hi."
Thanks Lynn for the great performances and inspiration!
She owns a classic silver mazda miata, theBMW she won at Bay to Breakers and a big F150 pickup truck.
