5/10 - Would quit if it were a high pressure big bank but job has a ton of autonomy and good pay at a small branch plus a couple smoking hot co-workers.

9/10 - The only thing that's not great about my life is obviously the money and the reason I don't say 10/10 is I occasionally get insecure when talking to old college friends etc. about what I do. But then I remember they are killing themselves doing something they hate to buy things they don't need to impress people who don't care about them.

Attorney. I make the industry average for my years and location. Six figures starting with a "1". 50 hours a week is a minimum. I am pretty efficient at getting things done and rarely have to come in on weekends or evenings. Job is a grind.

8/10 - sometimes gets a little obnoxious when you're stuck writing boring code for a few days/weeks, but usually it's mentally stimulating, the money's good for my age and experience (25, < 3 years), and pay increases are ~10k a year until you hit ~120-140k in this area.

Happiness Level - 8.5/10. Would like to make more money since I live in an incredibly expensive area of Michigan where a 3,000 Sq Ft. Home costs you close to $700K-$800K. The schools are incredibly good here and the town is very nice, so I don't want to leave, but will probably have to when the kid turns 5 or 6 and we need more space. Life is good...but I need to advance my career.

Anywhere from 40-60 hours per week is typical. On rare occasions can work more than this.

Work is stressful and hours can be long and unpredictable. But overall the work is interesting and rewarding and the pay is good.

Wish I could've been a doctor or a SEAL/Ranger instead but such is life.

May pack it all in one day in the next ten years to teach skiing/scuba diving but overall happy with my lot in life.

25 hours a week (variable hours of 15-45 hours a week, averaging 25). Work whatever hours I wish, though I need to be available to answer client requests weekdays 9am-4 pm or so.

7/10 happiness but only because I take the benefits for granted. If I had to go into an office, work defined hours or have a boss again then I'm sure it would be more like 9/10 with real perspective.

Prior to this I was making $46k, so I am loving the raise, feeling wealthy.

I work 40 hours per week and no more.

Happiness is 7/10. Can be rewarding work. Rarely boring. Can be hard also. I will probably move into the medical field as an NP/PA in the next 5-10 years
