This is why i think a Rupp DNF is just as likely as a Rupp win. If it's 35k, the pace is even halfway decent, and something feels off, he's the only one with a legit back up plan (which is actually probably his preferred plan, 10000m). Probably just as likely he smokes everyone by 2mins... but even for a professional it's gotta be tough to push into unknown territory when you're not fully invested.
