Lastly the thugs we call the Republican party today are in no way representative of true conservatives. Some true conservatives are considering voting for Bernie because they are sick and tired of our corrupt political system and our governments influence over us, and he is the only non-establishment candidate who has made any shred of since.

Who will you be voting for, ROJO? Excuse me if this is already public knowledge, I usually don't pay attention to political threads on this site.

Although I would never vote for Trump, I can see the appeal in him. I'm voting for Sanders for many reasons. However as a Democrat I simply can't see why anyone would vote for Hillary.

I won't be voting for Bernie, because socialism is not a viable, long term economic policy. If you need more explanation, please read your history books to investigate the outcome of prior experiments in socialism.

There's a nontrivial overlap, but they aren't the same thing. The vast majority of people voting for Sanders will vote for Clinton if she wins the primary, and the vast majority of people voting for Trump will vote for Rubio or Cruz or whoever if they win the primary. Maybe a slightly less vast majority in the Republican case.

His tax policies will benefit you. Unless you're part of Wallstreet that is.

Bernie whined a lot about how unfair it was that some kids were faster than he. He campaigned for faster times to be penalized to make them equal with slower times, and also for faster kids to have to run extra distance to make it fair for the slower ones.

Obviously, HS track was and is a scheme whereby the fastest 1% get all the rewards and accolades, which is extremely unfair & unjust..

My husband and I were talking about Sanders' policies during last night's town hall (hubby being more moderate than me). While husband likes Sanders' proposals, he doesn't feel he will be able to get them enacted when he is in office because Congress/Republicans will not pass such bills that will force these tax hikes or additional spending. Sanders will need more like-minded people voted into Congress either in 2016 or 2018 in order for his proposals to have any kind of chance of making it. Question is, will America vote for such representation to support Sanders if he gets elected president this fall?

False and false.

There are lots of people that his tax policies would hurt that are not Wallstreet. This is the problem with Bernie and his supporters. Even just limiting it to hurting Wallstreet, that's not ok. No one should be hurt or blamed for things they didn't do or simply for being rich and wealthy. But that's the message the Bernie is spreading and that his supporters believe. It's no better than being racist or sexist.

The other standout candidate, Trump, proposes things that are actually solutions instead of blaming people for things they didn't do. But everyone wants free money and free stuff and to stick it to rich people instead.

Furthermore, many of the things Sanders says make no sense at all and some are complete lies. He is not a good guy.

I'm not part of Wallstreet, but am in the highest tax bracket. Please explain how Bernie's tax policies will benefit me.

What? Why should Hilary be sent to jail? And why are you acting like Sanders and Hilary are the only candidates. Trump is available to vote for as are several others.

Exactly! The people need somebody who says whatever the hell they are thinking and then not delivering.

You don't have to be part of Wall Street to make $250k in large city, which really isn't that much if you have a family, only to be taxed out of your mind. Punishment for working hard and succeeding is not appealing to me in the least.

Secondly Is it fair that I pay a higher PERCENTAGE of my income then some billionaires and millionaires. yes that's right some of the rich people in this country actually pay a lower PERCENTAGE of there yearly income then the rest of us.

That being said, wall street was the main perpetrator of the economic recession we had in 08-09. There were other reasons but the main was the greed of wall street. Also all Bernie is doing proposing is more financial regulation which top economists agree with.

Lastly I think you have trump and sanders backwards. Trump has called out specific minority groups blaming them for america's problems. Only 'solutions', if you can call them, that ive heard are, para phrasing here, 'Lets build a wall and deport all illegals', ' Lets ban all Muslims form entering our coutnry, which goes against the Constitution mind you. Trump would also like to start people registries based on religion.

Living in a large city is irrelevant. $250k is a great amount of money if you have a family. Families do not cost that much. People are successfully raising families on less than half of that.

I agree with your other point though. You should not be taxed out of your mind and punished for having money.
