I need to follow H.S. track a little closer, seems like this group is a well known stud team. The DMR appears to be their route as opposed to the 4xmile; however a lot can happen come outdoor if they continue to develop a 4th miler.
I grew up in RI so I still follow the RI HS scene... but the New England region has produced as few good distance runners/groups in the last few years for both the boys and girls. Another RI HS team - Chariho - won the 4x1 mile a few years ago at Indoor NBN in what was then a national-record (17:20), and the same quartet continued to do well in the outdoor season in the 4x800 where they finished 4th in the 2012 Penn Relays HSB CoA (behind a team from VA and 2 teams from Jamaica). Of that quartet, two are running D1 track/XC (Mike Marsella at UVA; Bryce Kelley at FSU) while another is in D3 (Dan Kilcoyne at MIT)
But Georgetown is getting a good duo out of Salisbury and Bouthillette for next year (they announced their signing last fall). Principe is a junior and still has quite a bit to grow (he ran 14:42.15 5km last June at Outdoor NBN for 4th place as a sophomore).
