Okay. My daughters added me to a Netflix account. Now I can see whatever Netflix has free.
I haven't been a TV watcher for the last, oh, 30 years or so, so I don't have a grasp of good recent TV. Several people had recommended "Breaking Bad" to me, so last year I borrowed the DVDs from the library. Took me a few months to work through the whole thing, but I have to admit it was a pretty good show.
So: those of you who have Netflix, do you have any recommendations for TV series (OR FILMS) that Netflix carries?
Actually, more broadly: Any recommendations of series/movies that you thought were really high-quality, regardless of whether they're on Netflix or not? I can probably check them out from the library (thanks, NYPL!), even if they're not on Netflix. Thanks for any serious tips!
NOTE: I've already seen the movie "The Homesman" and the Ken Burns "Civil War" series on Netflix.
