When I was in my twenties through thirties 7 minute pace and under felt like running. Most training was under 7 minutes and all races were under 7 minutes. Running slower than 7 minutes felt like jogging.
Now that I'm over 60, running feels as hard (and sometimes good) as ever when I go under 25 minutes. That feels like running to me now and above 27 minutes, while still running, is on the verge of jogging. 10 minute pace feels like jogging at 60; yet, probably won't feel that way at 70.
