Which one? One looks like NB 890v3?
Nah, NB 1400. Both the same model just different colors.
at least NOP is sticking to it's black with skull-logo, BTC with red/black and OTC with green. But mo nothing beats the SMTC kits. Their colors stood out everywhere.
Adidas had a nice singlets a few years back in the Grete Waitz line.
I don't think the view of all those same shirts like the yellow at Pre a few years back help the sport.
The FTC singlet is still made. They updated the orange a few years back, but it's still nice and simple.
The real question is, why don't we see runners like Shorter anymore?
I like Meb, but Frank is the Greatest US runner of all time PERIOD
Early to mid 1970's. Bacheler, Shorter, Galloway, Barry Brown, Dyce, etc etc
John Parker was on that team...
Very strong team back then.
Shorter was in his mid 20's.

Picture is from Nov. 71 in San Diego. Stageberg trailing behind.
Shorter graduated from Yale in 1969 and had just turned 24 at the time the picture was taken.
I dig these Haverford XC singlets. haven't changed in 30 years or better to my knowledge. http://www.biconews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/IMG_7620.jpg

They look like they haven't been washed in that long either.
No more mentors like Bacheler anymore.

Agree about the singlets.
But is that seriously supposed to be a cross country course? I've raced on worse tracks.
