Casey (Geneseo) 9:07 & Harvey (Oneonta) 9:08, and I think that might round out all of the sub-9:10 from the conference as far back as anyone can remember.

Early 90s Albany guy here, now living out of state. How long has his conference existed as a men's track conference?

I honestly don't think it existed back when I ran as a DIII guy at Albany. We competed in a state conference, but I think it was called the New York State Collegiate Track and Field Conference.

And we raced all of the DIII SUNY schools and Rochester, but not RIT.

Marcantino had a family tragedy recently, so I'm not sure if he plans on racing this outdoor season.

Keep him and his family in your thoughts while you train and race, I know he would appreciate it.

I think you must have gone to college right after they left, as Albany was definitely a SUNYAC member in the late 80's. The SUNYAC has sponsored men's track & field since the late 60's.

Yeah, I must have been in the little bubble between when we left SUNYAC and then subsequently left DIII. A shame, my distance team would've had two guys up on the record boards - 1 in the steeple and 1 in the 5k. The early 90s was a crazy time in upstate NY go DIII distance running between the Albany teams, RIT teams and Rochester teams, not to mention a one off guy from Binghamton, Cortland and Fredonia here and there. Let me stop before I become more of a glory days cliche.

Cortland's decathletes continue to dominate, finishing today's meet w/ the 1st and 3rd best scores in DIII currently.

Cortland athletes in the top ten of nat'ls list:

Mitch Ryan- 1st, steeple

Jared Iacovelli- 2nd, steeple

Jack Flood- 5th, HJ

Jack Flood- 1st, Decathlon

Connor Christopherson- 3rd, Dec.

Mitch Couch- 8th, Discus

Couch- 3rd HT

Malone (HH), Kollmer (PV), D. Jones (TJ) all inside the top 25 in their respective events as well.

Jared is the only senior of the group, Cortland seems to be building the SUNYAC's next great track team with regards to national prominence.

Cassini ran 3:45.xx in the 1500

Messina and Lupia 30:39 and 30:47 in the 10k, Mulcahy was also 3:51 in the 1500

Did you seriously miss IGC's 3:45.7? That was far and away the most impressive SUNYAC result of the meet...

You also missed Kyle Collins 14:32...

Who wins the team title? Any other predictions?

Well I can tell you that Coach Angelo seems hell bent on killing some of his athletes. Lots of people doubling that are questionable at scoring in even one event. Also not sure why Gary is doubling ...

Anyone know that the record is for number of people dropping out of the 5k? Last year we had 4, any chance we get 5 this year?
