I've had pain in my achilles for almost the last 3-4 weeks. At first I was just going to ignore it, but it just started to get worst. Last week it got just seemed to get really tight and painful during runs. Since then I've been trying to take care of it streching, ibuprofen, etc. But how long will it take to heal, I'm at about 75 miles a week. Last week it was really swollen, but lately the swelling has been going down, but the pain is still there.
Now to the point: Are there any other little strenghting things I should do? And how long will it take to get better? I havn't cut my mileage I'm trying to avoid that this part of the summer, but will it get better just with streching/ibuprofen? I'm also a really bad underpronator, I just got new shoes from a good running shoes store.
